2023 Alumni Banquet Recap and Photos

250 graduates and guests assembled for the 137th Medway High School Alumni Association banquet—May 20th at the DoubleTree Hotel in Milford. Hosted by the 25-year Class of 1998, the 50-year Class of 1973 and the 2023 graduating seniors were invited guests as the association celebrated its 140th anniversary. With a beginning that goes back to 1883, MHS boats the oldest high school alumni association in the United States!

Association president, Jeff Pike (Class of 81) welcomed the Class of 2023, which marched into the playing of our fight song, “We Are the Mustangs!” Victoria Lotfy Stilwell (Class of 1955), an association board member since 1976, then conducted the roll call of classes—with special recognition for the Class of 1973, the Class of 1998, the Class of 2023, and other classes celebrating their 10-year reunions.

Board member Deborah Black Hansen (Class of 71) gave the invocation followed by a buffet dinner and class pictures. After dinner, Jeff thanked the Class of 1998 banquet committee—Tim Fraser and Dave Peterson—as well as the other members of the board: Kathleen (McGowan) Choate, Treasurer, (Class of 57), who is stepping down after 35 years as treasurer and having helped with the banquet since 1958; Mary Jeanne (Gallagher) Anderson, Clerk, (Class of 1971); John Murphy, (Class of 71) and Tracy (Thayer) Kilpatrick, (Class of 94).
